Learning English has never been this much fun!

I believe children learn best when they’re
engaged, active, and enjoying themselves.

My specially designed English courses for children blend imagination, creativity, and structured language development to spark a love of learning from an early age.
With activities ranging from storytelling and art to themed games and creative writing, I will help your child build confidence in English in a friendly, supportive, and culturally rich environment.

🧠 The Personalized Difference vs. Traditional Classrooms

Most language schools limit their lessons to a single textbook (like Cambridge Movers or Flyers) where an entire class works on the exact same page at the exact same time.

However, I recognize that every child is unique. Some learn faster than others; some excel at speaking, while others understand perfectly but lack the confidence to speak up.

My lessons are entirely personalized and adapted to suit the specific needs and interests of your child. As an experienced British primary school teacher, I combine the active teaching approaches found in top UK classrooms with specialized strategies designed for children learning English as a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th language.

🗺️ How Will My Child Learn?

“No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship.”

— James P. Comer, Renowned Child Psychiatrist & Scholar
My starting point is always to build a genuine connection with my students.
I map out their unique strengths and interests—because while some children love to talk, others need gentle encouragement. Some learn best while moving, while others love to sing or paint.

I use these insights to build lessons around your child’s specific developmental milestones. Every session seamlessly integrates the core elements of communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Stories, songs, crafts, puzzles, games, and role-play ensure your child stays completely engaged, on task, and actively looking forward to their next lesson!

📈 The Importance of Ongoing Feedback

Continuous feedback is vital for both you and your child.
During our sessions, I offer constant encouragement so your child always knows what they are doing well and exactly how they can improve.

Your child will benefit from my patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement, paired with clear, high expectations. I keep parents fully aligned with their child’s progress through regular verbal updates and written developmental records.

🎯 What Will My Child Learn?

Support for British & International School Students

Course Overview:
Many parents find that their children struggle with reading or spelling, but they don't know how to bridge the gap. Spelling in English can be incredibly frustrating if a child hasn't been taught phonics structurally.

Did you know that most teachers of English are not actually trained in how to teach phonics?

With over 25 years of experience teaching children how to read, I bring a wealth of specialised knowledge to help your child master literacy in a relaxed, tears-free setting.

Just like the best British schools, I use a Synthetic Phonics approach supplemented with music, storytelling, and games. Your child will learn to read naturally without even realising they are working!

Mastering SPaG for Children
(Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar)

Course Overview:
If your child is enrolled in a British curriculum school, they will need to learn SPaG, the core technical engine of the English language used throughout primary and secondary education.

I provide explicit teaching which can help your child master:

  • Spelling: Navigating phonetic patterns, root words, prefixes, suffixes, and tricky irregular spellings.
  • Punctuation: Correctly deploying full stops, commas, apostrophes, and quotation marks to give their writing total clarity.
  • Grammar: Fully understanding word classes such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives, as well as sentence structures, tense consistency, and the active and passive voice.
