These experiences gave me the opportunity to work directly with people facing very different challenges, cultures, and circumstances, and they strengthened my belief in the importance of empathy, patience, and practical support. Whether helping someone adjust to an unfamiliar environment or giving a child the encouragement and attention they needed to feel more secure and confident, I have always found this work deeply rewarding.
My volunteer experience continues to shape the way I teach today, reminding me that education is not simply about knowledge, but also about confidence, connection, resilience, and helping people feel that they are capable of moving forward.
Through personalised teaching, clear guidance, and consistent encouragement, I help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, overcome learning barriers, and develop the independence they need to succeed both inside and beyond the classroom.
